Actor Reels
As an actor, one of the most important tools in your arsenal is a great reel.
If you are a professional actor and have
any video with you moving you
may have the opportunity for a great reel. It's just a matter of locating the
best bits.
You may know exactly which clips you want to use and simply need a pair of hands,
or need an impartial, ego-free eye to help you decide which bits present the
best version of yourself. With experience as a
professional editor and
professional
director Jessie has the ability to fill either role or function somewhere in between.
Perhaps you are an actor just starting out and want to put together "Reporter #1"
and "Person With Sandwich" clips so you can get paid to play something
other
than "Reporter #1" and "Person With Sandwich".
Perhaps you're an actor who needs to condense a 20 year career into a 3 minute
reel so you don't have to play "Reporter #1" and "Person With Sandwich"
ever again.
Jessie has edited both and more.

additions/deletions -- $50
After you get work from your awesome new reel, you'll want to update it. I'm here for you, and I will keep it simple...
Remove that scene of you kissing Screech on Saved By the Bell and replace it with you kissing Screech on CSI.
Each change is only $50, and you can do that three times.
*** If you have four new pieces for your reel (good for you!) we should really cut a new reel.
***We need to be reasonable here. If you want to re-arrange everything, you may actually be talking about a new reel. I default towards making it easiest on your wallet (or moneyclip), but please keep that in mind.
The Process
Reel Preparation
The goal when creating reels with you is to keep the experience as enjoyable and painless as possible.
It's simple: We're going to put together a reel where you look your best.
Obviously, no one is exactly alike, but I've found that the best way to keep the process enjoyable and painless is one of the two following ways:
--- option 1: hands on ---
You can sit in the editing session. It will take between 4 to 6 hours and you will leave with all the finished material.
--- option 2: hands not as on ---
Or you can drop your material off with a log. You will be able to view a low resolution cut on a password protected area on my website.
If you approve it you will be able to pick up the final materials the next day.
If you want to make changes you can come in for a two hour final editing session and leave with your final material.
